Vinyl, Cassette & 8 Track Transfers

We all have rare vinyl records, cassette, or 8-track recordings which can be restored and preserved on Compact Diskette (CD) using digital recording and mastering technology.  During the recording and mastering phase, annoyances such as scratches, pops, hiss, and other noises can often be minimized or removed completely.*  In addition, the recording quality can often be improved with the latest digital mastering techniques.

Our studio utilizes the latest 'state of the art' digital recording technology (equipment) with the input from the following:

•  VINYL'S LP, 45's & 78's:  through a Technics SL1200 direct drive (no belt) turntable with a balanced arm and Ortofon diamond stylus cartridge, after disc washing to improve track cleanliness and sound purity (NOTE: Input from 78's are on the Morantz Direct Drive variable speed turntable with an Ortofon cartridge.
   
• CASSETTE:  through a Sony HX Pro (Model TCWR-775) direct, two motor, drive with 'low hiss' Dolby Noise Reduction.
   
• 8 TRACK:  through a Sony Pro 8 Track with 'low hiss' Dolby Noise Reduction.

Our objective is to produce the highest predictable quality at an affordable price, taking whatever enhancement steps that are necessary to produce the best possible sound without degrading the original material.  Moreover, our production includes recording, mixing, mastering, and recording on a high quality CD media with titles and track times printed directly on the CD with a standard size CD case.

THE PROCEDURE IS SIMPLE as 1, 2, 3:

1. YOU select your records and tapes to be transferred to CD, then total up the number of units and minutes and BUY the services from the selections below.  At the conclusion of your purchase you will be redirected to a printable shipping label for your convenience.
    
2. YOU package all the items and USPS Media Mail them to us (you may want to insure the respective items - we do!)
    
3. WE prepare (clean records) your source media, record, mix, master, and record your source material to CD Media, label, package, and bundle it all up and USPS Media Mail Insured your finished materials back to YOU!

Then you enjoy those rare materials in your home theater, stereo, computer, car, or other CD audio equipment for years and years to come without concern for derogation.  That's it!
