Q: Why does Trimedia prefer the Shure brand microphones for recording and not some other brand?
A: From over 30 years of personal experience in audio and video production we have found that while the Shure brand of microphone products have not always been the 'best priced' affordable option, Shure's microphones have proven to be reliable, pristine quality sound production, and durable.  Moreover, many great and powerful artist in the industry have chosen Shure over 'all' the other options.  Click Here for a partial list of great names endorsing Shure as their preferred and only microphone.

Q: Can we use our own microphones?
A - Yes and all of our equipment supports both dynamic and condenser type microphones with the ability to enable phantom power for your convenience.

Q: Is digital recording better than reel to reel, cassette, or other forms of recording media?
A: Unequivocally YES.  Having had experience with cassette, reel to reel multi-track, and other media recording formats, we have always sought to have a sound that is the clearest, most pristine, and near to 'actual' sound recording possible.  Through the use of the highest quality standards in the audio and video industry, we chose manufacturer's whose names have been associated with quality and whose focus was to produce results that were among the purest in their respective fields.  Moreover, digital recording paves the way to unlimited editing, looping, effects, and fixes, through computerized 'after the fact' recordings.

Q: How long does it take from the time we record to when we will receive our CD's?
A: From the finish recording session to CD's in hand normally takes between three and six weeks.  Why so long?  Because the recording tracks have to be mixed, effects mastered, a master CD produced, then released to production for either duplication or replication.

Q: What's the difference between duplication and replication?
A: Duplication is CD burning from the original 'burned' Master CD and thus has the visible tale tell 'burn' marks, and thus a duplicate of the original.  Replication on the other hand, is a reproduced copy of the burned Master CD (like the original in content but unlike the original in appearance) where the recording is placed on a metal foil like disc and then press sealed between two disc halves, like those that are found commercially available at the local retail store, and thus do not have the tale tell 'burn' marks.

Q: Can we have both CD's and Cassettes?
A: Definitely.  See our Rates

Q: We have need to have our DVD movie online.  Can you give us an online version also?
A: Yes.  We can convert your DVD movie, VHS movie, Beta movie, and many other formats, on to CD's for computers in .mpg, .avi, .wma, .rm, .wav, plus others, while also resizing and compressing the format in order to stream the media for dial up or broadband speeds.

Q: What if we schedule our Wedding Video and later have to cancel?
A: We understand that things do happen in life that can complicate plans formerly made and for that reason we only collect a small initial non-refundable deposit of $250 at the time of scheduling your work, with the balance of the 50% total deposit on the total work to be made one month prior to the work, the latter of which is also non-refundable unless we are fortunate enough to find a scheduled replacement and then all monies will be refunded except for the $250 initial deposit - however, a last minute refund is not guaranteed and thus one should not plan on such refund being a possibility, for it is only a remote possibility - we're not in the business to make money on people unfortunate stresses and complications but we must cover losses that relate to cancellation of scheduled work and performances.  Moreover, if the date is rescheduled at a later date, all initial deposits and total deposits can be applied toward future work for up to two (2) years from the date of the initial scheduled work/ceremony.

Q: What if we decide later to add some additional services to our Wedding Package?
A: No problem so long as the additional services are scheduled in enough time to get the respective services covered should additional equipment or personnel be required.  Moreover, the charges would simply be the difference between the original scheduled services and the new total.
